The District hosted law enforcement and emergency responders for an information sharing meeting and walk-through on November 21, 2022. Law enforcement partners from the FBI, Pennsylvania State Police, Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office, Dallas Twp. Police, Dallas Borough, Kingston Twp. Police, and PA Game Commission were present. Superintendent, Dr. Duffy, provided a welcome. The event and walk-through was facilitated by Mr. Sholtis, Director of Operations. Mr. Sholtis reviewed recent safety initiatives including a technology based door monitoring system and increased security officers enacted this year. State Representative, Aaron Kaufer, shared information regarding a grant-funded project that will allow Dallas to pilot new safety related communication and surveillance camera equipment in partnership with AMP Global Strategies, a Dallas-based firm. Attendees were encouraged to share feedback and input during and following the event. Pictured below are event participants.
