The District is pleased to announce Mr. Matt Samuel ‘s transition to Athletic Director of the Dallas School District. Mr. Samuel has been a Dallas High School faculty member for 13 years, teaching in the English Department and has served as department chairperson since 2018.  Mr. Samuel previously coached Cross Country and Track and Field at Dallas High School.  Matt was a Division I athlete in Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field at the University of Pittsburgh.  Mr. Samuel is a 1993 Dallas Graduate and has been a game manager and advocate and proud supporter of Dallas Athletics for over 2 decades.  We look forward to Athletic Director Samuel leading the department, supporting coaches and staff, and serving student athletes well.
