DSD Campus Updates
The DSD campus supports hundreds of events held by community organizations throughout the year through our facilities use approval process. Our District embraces the opportunity to actively engage the community as we host events. As we continue to evaluate our operational safety, we offer a few reminders about the use of our campus:
Please be reminded that the DSD campus is not open to the public during the school day. Walking, biking, running, playing tennis, and other activities are not permitted on campus while students are in school. The community may utilize our District property where the Back Mountain Little League operates for walking etc. during the school day.
Our community and partners will also notice clearer communication regarding areas of the campus that are not to be accessed by the public at any time. These include the areas around and behind our maintenance building, multipurpose stadium, and near the loading dock areas of any building. Please be mindful of signage and gated areas.
Vehicles should not be parked on our campus except related to official school business and approved events. Only designated parking areas should be utilized and vehicles should never be left on campus overnight.
Adherence will be monitored and we have asked our staff and Dallas Twp Police SROs to assist in regulating these reminders.
