Bill Gartrell, Director of Technology, is pleased to introduce the department’s newest Techs that will serve the District as part of the Technology Department.  DSD Tech Aides include: Yeislly Rodriguez, Logan Dwen and Andy Traver

The Technology Department continues to serve the District’s technology needs including maintenance and repair of hardware, infrastructure and devices, installation of software, and support of communication and safety technology.  The District has 3,000 devices deployed including a one to one program for students, wireless internet access across the campus, internet based internal and external phone system, and technology supported surveillance and access and activity monitoring systems.  Google Applications for Education, including Google Classrooms, support teaching and learning within nearly every classroom.  Current Technology Department initiatives include a review of software and application utilization, increasing network security, exploring new teacher workstations and memorializing department roles and its structure.
