The Dallas High School LifeSmarts team finished in second place at the 2023 LifeSmarts National Competition in Cincinnati. The students also competed in individual exams in the key areas of LifeSmarts. Lucas Carver finished in first place in Consumer Rights and Responsibilities, Marie Popielarz finished in first place in Health and Safety, Mahi Dhol finished in first place in Personal Finance, Artem Smagin finished in second place in Technology and Workforce Preparation, and Jordan Nichols finished in third place in the Environment. Marie Popielarz also received a scholarship for her essay on identity theft.
