Response to Intervention (RtI) Teams meet regularly in each school and include teachers, school counselors, the principals and are supported by district school psychologists.  Students who are referred to the RtI Team may be having challenges academically and or behaviorally.  The team reviews student specific data and often builds a plan to provide the student with interventions.  Interventions are leveled or tiered and the student’s progress is monitored by the team.  Often, the intervention results in the student making gains to allow the student to be successful.
