Dallas School District is situated on our 100+ acre campus in the heart of the Back Mountain. It serves children residing within an approx. 50 mile radius including the communities of Dallas Borough & Township, Franklin Township & Kingston Township.

On Saturday, March 29th, two DHS Band students, Emily Ceron and Sophia Strazdus traveled to the Penn State University Park campus to participate in the inaugural Athena Summit.

The Athena Summit is a groundbreaking opportunity for young musicians — especially 6th-12th grade girls, collegiate women and young women band directors — to grow as leaders both within their band programs and in their broader communities. With a dynamic lineup of expert clinicians, interactive activities and leadership development sessions, the summit is poised to make a lasting impact on students from across Pennsylvania.

The event, hosted by Penn State School of Music, was led by Dr. Tonya Mitchell-Spradlin, director of wind band studies, and Micki Ferguson, associate director of athletic bands

Tuesday, August 19, 2025: 3A Meet the Teacher Night from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. 3B Meet the Teacher Night from 6 to 7 PM.

Wednesday, August 20, 2025: 4A Meet the Teacher Night from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. 4B Meet the Teacher Night from 6 to 7 PM.
