Opening Day In-Service – A Success!

Dallas School District
(opens in a new tab)Dallas School District is situated on our 100+ acre campus in the heart of the Back Mountain. It serves children residing within an approx. 50 mile radius including the communities of Dallas Borough & Township, Franklin Township & Kingston Township.
We continued the great tradition of our Kindergarten students meeting up with the graduating Seniors for our 3rd Annual Kindergarten/ Senior Walk. The students met in the middle of the stadium to share a little gift with each other. All of the students, both young and old, had a great time.
Dallas Middle School held a Homecoming Spirit Week. Today was king and queen day and students and staff dressed like royalty. This group of staff members represented King’s College.
Fifth graders are working collaboratively in STEM class to master the Sphero Maze Challenges. The Sphero is a round robot that receives student data input wirelessly via a device such as a Chromebook or iPad. Teams command their robots to go through mazes on the floor of the STEM room as quickly and cleanly as possible. Students are applying numerous math and computer science skills during these challenges.

Athletics
As a part of the Wyoming Valley Conference, Dallas School District offers 14 PIAA sanctioned sports programs throughout the school year.
Clubs & Organization
Our clubs and co-curricular activities are set up to add to the educational experience of our students and help students develop social skills, relationship-building skills, time management skills, self-esteem, commitment, and explore their interests.
Visual & Performing Arts
Dallas School District offers music, theater, and visual arts opportunities throughout grades K-12. All of our schools offer music and art classes, and on average, our middle school and high school both put on two productions every year.
