(opens in a new tab)Dallas School District is situated on our 100+ acre campus in the heart of the Back Mountain. It serves children residing within an approx. 50 mile radius including the communities of Dallas Borough & Township, Franklin Township & Kingston Township.
Dallas High School proudly congratulates Luke Tellis, Christopher Flanagan, David Colburn, and Brady Ecenrode on being named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program!
These students are being recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated through their outstanding performance on the PSAT.

On Friday, 9/25/26, the entire DSD campus took part in an emergency preparedness exercise. During the exercise, faculty, students, staff, administration, and emergency responders were able to practice our emergency protocols by simulating a full campus evacuation event.
Thank you to all DSD stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation while we conducted this exercise. A special thank you to Dallas Twp. Police and Luzerne County EMA for participating in and observing our procedures.

Athletics
As a part of the Wyoming Valley Conference, Dallas School District offers 14 PIAA sanctioned sports programs throughout the school year.
Clubs & Organization
Our clubs and co-curricular activities are set up to add to the educational experience of our students and help students develop social skills, relationship-building skills, time management skills, self-esteem, commitment, and explore their interests.
Visual & Performing Arts
Dallas School District offers music, theater, and visual arts opportunities throughout grades K-12. All of our schools offer music and art classes, and on average, our middle school and high school both put on two productions every year.
